Responsibilities
  • To champion the cause of school children up to the age of 19
  • Liaise with the resurgent Mining Industry, particularly to encourage the development of necessary skills
  • To oversee technical awards to school children
  • Routes through Mining and the current Mining Industry looking at awards for the children of Miners to preserve the contact with that industry
  • Cover Career Teachers and post-graduates and events to attract the attention of such people
  • Support to the Coal Industry

  • Support for SWIEET activities in universities

Responsibilities
  • Will promote the Apprentices programme and the development of sub-degree engineering educational opportunities with the various age groups establishment in Wales
  • To meet and progress the University side of things
  • Career Teachers education and liaison with Business and work experience to be pursued
  • Support for both Graduates and Peer Group pressures and interest
